Thomas Hearns
The Hitman from the Kronk, first man to win titles in four divisions
Overview
A tall rail thin welterweight with a cannon right hand, Hearns knocked out Pipino Cuevas in 1980 for his first crown. His 1981 classic with Sugar Ray Leonard ended in a 14th round stoppage, and he flattened Roberto Duran in two rounds in 1984. He went on to win belts at light middleweight, middleweight, super middleweight and light heavyweight, a champion in five weight classes.
