Overview
The charismatic face of the Four Kings era, Leonard won 1976 Olympic gold and took the welterweight crown from Wilfred Benitez in 1979. He avenged Duran, rescued victory against Thomas Hearns in 1981, and after a retina injury returned to outpoint Marvin Hagler in 1987. He won titles from welterweight through light heavyweight and retired 36-3-1.
