Overview
Hagler legally added Marvelous to his name and ruled the middleweights for seven years, 12 defenses, beating Alan Minter, Mustafa Muhammad, Roberto Duran, Juan Roldan, Thomas Hearns in the three round War of 1985, and John Mugabi. He lost a split decision to Sugar Ray Leonard in 1987 and never fought again, finishing 62-3-2 with 52 knockouts.
