Ken Norton
Broke the jaw of Muhammad Ali and won the WBC heavyweight title in 1978
Overview
A sculptured former Marine with a crouched, cross armed style, Norton split two fights with Ali and broke his jaw in winning the first in 1973. He was awarded the WBC title in 1978 and lost it in his first defense, a 15 round classic with Larry Holmes. His son Ken Jr became an NFL star.
