Joe Frazier
Smokin Joe, undisputed champion 1970 to 1973 and winner of the Fight of the Century
Overview
Olympic gold medalist in Tokyo 1964, Frazier won the undisputed heavyweight title in 1970 and beat Muhammad Ali in the 1971 Fight of the Century, dropping him with a booming left hook in round 15. He lost the crown to George Foreman in 1973 and fought Ali three times in all, including the Thrilla in Manila. Relentless bobbing pressure defined his style.
