Overview
Two undefeated champions, Muhammad Ali 31-0 back from exile and Joe Frazier 26-0, met at Madison Square Garden with half the world watching. Frazier swept the late rounds and decked Ali with a left hook in the 15th to win a unanimous decision, the first defeat of Ali. Frank Sinatra shot photos for Life magazine at ringside.
