Welsh super middleweight who retired unbeaten in 46 fights
Overview
Calzaghe won the WBO super middleweight title from Chris Eubank in 1997 and held it for more than a decade, adding the other major belts with wins over Jeff Lacy and Mikkel Kessler. In 2008 he moved to light heavyweight and beat both Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr in the United States. He retired the following year with a perfect record of 46 wins, trained throughout by his father Enzo.
