Overview
Morales from Tijuana won his first world title at super bantamweight in 1997 and went on to become the first Mexican born boxer to win world titles in four weight classes. He beat Marco Antonio Barrera in the first of their three fights and outpointed Manny Pacquiao in 2005, before Pacquiao stopped him in two rematches. His willingness to stand and trade made him a fixture of fight of the year lists.
