Chavez vs Taylor I
Two seconds left, Chavez stopped a leading Taylor, March 17 1990
Overview
Meldrick Taylor boxed brilliantly and led on two scorecards against Julio Cesar Chavez entering the final round. A Chavez right hand put Taylor down, and when he rose on unsteady legs referee Richard Steele stopped it with two seconds on the clock. The most controversial finish of the decade remains debated today.
